This picture was taken last Sep when I went to The Netherlands.
I have rotated the picture and placed it beside the original to have a fun viewWhen looking at the picture, I have been wondering where did the street lamp come from and where did the 3 cars disappear to?
Neat picture. The cars don't show because of the angle between the street and the water. It is too much. If you will look closely you will see that the reflection starts about 1/3 of the way up the windows of the buildings.
ReplyDeleteI think they are too far reach from the river dear since the cars were on the other side of the road .. or ?
ReplyDeleteGreat taking on the theme, I LOVE it, awesome shot you have there ;o)
Beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot, Dreamz. You seem to have confused yourself while having fun... it's all about angles as mentioned already above. Netherlands is another place I'd like to visit one day.
ReplyDeleteBtw... I will be taking this week off from PPF. I posted a blog similar to this theme already here on Multiply. Here's the link if you'd like to visit it.

Er - I can see the cars. I can also see the reflection of the street lamp. But it's true there's no reflection of the cars, for reason stated above.
ReplyDeleteHehe - funny.
Hei Dreamz
ReplyDeleteBrilliant shot!
Remember the scenes of Amsterdam very well indeed.
Have a super 2008. Rii :)
Mine's up as well...
The cars are still there...they are just upside down in the pic on the right. When you rotated it the pic not only reversed but it turned upside down. I like the way you presented them.
ReplyDeleteGreat, fun take on the theme.
ReplyDeleteGood picture! If you don't mind the cars, the photo on the right could be the original photo as well...
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo!
ReplyDeleteThat is soo cool!!
ReplyDeleteOhh wow...what did you do with them?? Messing with my head you are...grins..great shot!
ReplyDeleteThe water looks like glass .. a perfect reflection indeed ... stunning photo!! Thanks for stopping in on mine!
ReplyDeleteOddly enough, I can see all three cars and the street lamp in both picture, just reversed top-to-bottom. Great photo, and so much fun to see them "mirrored".
ReplyDeleteA great idea and a lovely photo.
ReplyDeleteI can see the cars in both too...how fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the flipped picture! This definitely brought a smile to my face. Excellent presentation of the theme!!!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteVery cool to see it flipped! The lamp I think I've got, the cars? eh....??
ReplyDeleteThe cars are in the canal! The street lamp is hiding in the darkness of the buildings at the angle the picture was taken, and only shows in the reflection.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great take on the theme, and you made it fun for all of us with a little mystery thrown in!
Mystery reflections make the eye play tricks. I see the inversion and the cars.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful. Mine's up. Feel free to come by and take a look. http://bikergirl279.multiply.com/journal/item/122/Picture_Perfect_Friday_Reflection
ReplyDeleteThe cars are under the water now when reversed! hehehe! Great pic and presentation!
ReplyDeletefunny one! this is truly clear water!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw your picture (before reading) I thought "This is just like The Netherlands" and oh! surprise I guessed right..
ReplyDeleteFunny idea to rotate the picture! I love your post!
Too cool! You can't even tell that it's rotated, the reflection is so perfect! Wow!
ReplyDeleteNice one!
ReplyDeleteThe picture itself is very nice =) I also love ALL the reflection; left to right, upside down. I was confused with the cars and streetlamp at first too ~ then looked a little closer. This was fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on mine too =)
Very cool shot and effect!!!! What a great idea to rotate it the way you did!!!
ReplyDeleteI've ridden the tour boats in the canals of Amsterdam. It's a gorgeous city. So much of life there revolves the water.
ReplyDeleteI love how you flipped it around very cool :) Great Reflections.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot & great take on the theme! Very creative of you! Makes you ponder, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteLol...I love these pictures! A great take on the theme and a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteMine is up if you have a chance.
Oh this is super! What a clever way of displaying and that water is so smooth, you'd never know which is the water and which is sky.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Great presentation.
ReplyDeleteI love these! I have a similar shot of a pond...upsidedown looks the same. Actually, the bottom of the pond makes it look like clouds when turned. The quiet, stillness is just breathtaking! Thanks! :)
