This picture of a view from the hotel room, was taken years back when I was in ShangHai, China.

  11. Loads of curves there! I'd be lost for sure. I was fascinated by the Chinese characters in the grass too. A very interesting photo.

  13. The Chinese characters means "Celebration". I think probably for the China national day which falls on the 1st October.

  26. Fine photo and take on the theme. I bet the same view now would be even more spectacular. My son lives and works in Shanghai and I've seen a lot of recent photos. Wow! Don't think I could handle that many people in one place, I'm still a simple country boy at heart.

  29. WOW , look at them curves... I am a good old country gal, just give a old fashion road with trees and everyside and a good car to travel them on.. whew... this is why I let someone else drive.

  31. You had quite an interesting view from your hotel, Dreamz...I never knew that Shanghai was such a mondernized metropolis. Concrete curves have taken over the cities of the world...you should see one of the major freeway interchanges here in Orange County and L.A. County.
