"You Have the Sweetest Burden"

I knew V since 2001, we both like Hello Kitty and have good times sms~ing each other very often, even I was overseas at Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia.  We also have bad times quarreling and never contact each other for few years, and only 3 years ago we were back as friends again.

V has a cute little boy which I used to look after him when he was few months old, and now he is already 6 years old. Time really flies.  Last December, V gave birth to a baby girl.  We both are overjoyed as we can pass our Hello Kitty stuff to her hahaha~

I visited her recently to give her the baby stuff she requested from Indonesia.  She told me baby is really 甜蜜的负担, she bought alot of things for this baby girl, so costly, but couldn't resist. well that's because nothing can stop Mother's love for the baby :) what a sweet burden!

I like this phrase 甜蜜的负担, and I remember I sent it to other mothers-to-be :
- M, a girl who I truthfully care and is delivering this coming July
- my Indonesian client, G's wife who will be due around Dec. I knew G for about 3 years since the Indonesia project started. He got married last July and last month when I was in Jakarta, met up with his wife and he told me that she just got pregnant. Life is going on and on.. how wonderful!

Baby is the sweetest gift that god has given, love it, hug it and protect it as long as you can...
don't be like me, stupidly reject the gift and whenever I think of it, can't forgive myself and regret for my whole life.  So remember ...

There's a smile
the world has never seen,
just waiting to be shared.

There's a heart
the world has never known,
just waiting to be loved.

There's a sweetest gift
that's not born yet
just waiting to be yours.

  3. Thanks. Yes, we're excited. She's just a week or two past half gone. 4 months to wait.
